Jimmy and Peggy established their studio in 1980. Their studio is a family orientated business specializing in personal service and quality photography of children and families. They are very active in photography organizations. Both are members of the Professional Photographers of America, Southeastern Professional Photographers Association, Tennessee Professional Photographers Association, and Music City Professional Photographers Association.

Jimmy has served in all offices of Music City and Tennessee Professional Photographers Associations. Peggy is now serving as Vice-President of the Tennessee Photographers Association.

Jimmy was awarded the National Award which is the highest award given in the state Association in 2000. The Southeastern Governors award was presented to both Jimmy and Peggy in 2001. Jimmy is also very active in community organizations; he is now serving on the board of directors of the Smith County Chamber of Commerce and the Smith County Farm Bureau. They have studied photography extensively during their careers and are continuing to further their education by attending conventions and seminars around the region.
